Marquee: Cover Stage

A small theatre for the person you photograph.

Coming soon to the App Store.

Marquee Booth on the outer display of iPhone Duo: the countdown at 3 inside a frame of marquee bulbs, with a Look here cue by the camera

Turn the screen toward your subject and Marquee plays a short show while the camera facing them takes the photo: a cue, a countdown in most shows, then their photo with a bow. Every show plays on iPhone and iPad. On iPhone Duo, the outer display performs while you shoot from the inner display, the hinge joins the act, and closing the phone develops the print.

Questions

What is Marquee: Cover Stage?

A camera app that puts on a short show for the person you photograph. Turn the screen toward your subject and the show plays in six beats (House, Cue, Count, Flash, Reveal, Bow) while the camera facing them takes the photo, so they know when to get ready and see their photo the moment it lands.

What does Marquee do on iPhone Duo?

The show plays on the outer display while you shoot from the inner display. The hinge joins the act: detents you can feel, a curtain in Peekaboo Playhouse that follows the fold, and Develop on Close, which develops your last kept photo as a print on the outer display when you shut the phone. Reopen within five seconds to undo. Every hinge action also has an on-screen button.

Does Marquee work on other iPhone models and on iPad?

Yes. Every show, the Season Pass and First Series work on iPhone and iPad. The show plays on the main display, full screen on iPhone and in the app window on iPad, and the front camera takes the photo. Develop on Close and the other hinge extras need iPhone Duo.

How much will Marquee cost?

Marquee will be free to download, with Marquee Booth and Peekaboo Playhouse free in full. The Season Pass adds Green Room, Anime Opening, Silent Film, Treat Time and the new shows released this season for $0.99 a month or $7.99 a year. First Series includes all of it for $19.99 once and is sold until March 31, 2027. US prices; the App Store will show your local price.

Where are my photos stored?

On your device only, in Marquee's library, and in Photos when you save them. The same goes for Green Room clips. Marquee never uploads your photos and has no account, no ads and no tracking.
